5k Walk/ Run or 15 Mile Bike Event — In Person or Virtual!

Beargrease’s Fall Fundraiser Kicking off in the outdoor epicenter of Duluth.

The Beargrease Fur-K Festival is where Duluth’s outdoor spirit comes alive. Kicking off Beargrease race season, this family-friendly festival combines fitness, fun, and community with a 5K walk/run and bike event set against the breathtaking trails of Spirit Mountain and RiverWest Duluth.

With live music, food, and activities for all ages, the Fur-K is more than a race—it’s a celebration of the traditions that make the Northland unique.  Plus: meet our 2-legged and 4-legged athletes as it’s the official start of Musher Registration for the 2026 Beargrease!

Bike Event:

• 7am: Bike Check-In at Spirit Mountain (Or choose virtual!)
• 8am-10am: 15 mi. Bike Ride
• $35 registration, includes Fur-K T-Shirt!
• Kids 10 and under free with paid adult (no shirt)
• No Dogs on the trail

Fur K 5k Walk/Run

• 9:30am: Check In RiverWest Duluth (Or choose virtual)
• 9:30am-11:30am: Run/Walk begins on Munger Trail at RiverWest
• Well behaved dogs welcome, must be leashed and up-to-date on shots.
• $25 registration, includes Fur-K T-shirt
• Kids 10 and under free with paid adult (no t-shirts)

After:

Live music and food from noon – 3pm
