My first ever race was the Beargrease 120 fifteen years ago. It was terrifying, but I was addicted after that. Since then I have done the Beargrease many times, as well as the Midnight Run, Wolf Track Classic, Mid Minnesota and CopperDog. I live in Two Harbors with my husband and dogs. We live off grid in order to have our dog kennel and access to a trail system. I have 2 adult sons, Ian and Logan. Our kennel is Dark Sky Kennel and we have a fantastic group of people helping us: Kim Heytens, Mike Schultenover, Jim and Jody Ward, and Cori McDermott.
