Hi. Im Elena, I’m 16 years old and I started Mushing when I was just 4 years old, My border collie and Basset hound would pull me around on a little sled. Not one person in my family was a musher, but they realized my love for the sport very early on. When I was twelve my Mother and Father got my first real sleddog, His name was Flash and he was Siberian husky. As I aged, My love for the sport grew. Mushing is my genuine passion, Being with the dogs all day is the happiest and best feeling I can ever experience. In 2019, I attended Jamie Nelson’s Bootcamp and learned ALOT. I am so incredibly grateful for her teaching me the ‘ropes’ she also taught me about the right dogs to use(not show line Siberian huskies)
