Mushing came to me as a young girl, and I dragged my family along for the ride of owning, raising and racing sled dogs. Thanks to some great mentors along the way, mushing became my life and led me to a family of my own that live our lives surrounded by our amazing dogs.
I met my husband, Chad, through sled dogs and we, along with my mother in law, Martha, and our toddler son, T-Boone, make up Team Otter Run. We are very excited to be back for another Beargrease 120 and be apart of the most participated in and greatest mid distance race in the lower 48. Thank you, Grandpa Mark, for keeping the home fires burning and T-Boone wrangling while we train dogs.
