I am currently the only competitive musher who resides in North Dakota. I started mushing at a young age then decided I wanted to run the Jr. Iditarod. I started my own business at age 8 to sell dog treats to raise money for my team and my dream. I raced and won the Beargrease Jr 120 in 2021. In 2022 and 2024, I was able to complete my dream of running the Jr Iditarod in Alaska. I do plan to run the full Beargrease Marathon one day, for now I am a freshman at the University of Minnesota-Crookston where I am majoring in Communications and running for the women’s cross country team (go Golden Eagles!). A big thank you to my family for continuing to help me train my dogs and support me the entire way!
