My first passion is of course, dogs, both sled dogs and my own border collie. I also have worked and studied as a wildlife biologist, and love to be a part of active conservation efforts. In my limited free time I like to rock climb, hike, and paddleboard with my dog.

I was inspired to run dogs by seeing the bond between mushers and their dogs; I’m inspired by the love and trust that they share. I love being able to go out into winter with your best friends and travel across landscapes few get to see.
