My wife Tammy and I, have a kennel of 48 dogs, yes I said Wife. In October I married an old flame. Tammy is great with the dogs and loves spending time with them. She will be trying out her own team this season on our local trails for the first time. She was a cross country runner in high school and half marathons after. We raise Alaskan huskies and love spending time with them. Since the summer of 2022, I have totally made over my kennel. We now have 2 large pens with an alleyway between. Males on one side, females on the other and completely fenced. The alleyway is set up for hooking up and launching teams from, and also gated for free running. I enjoy spending time with my wife Tammy, our dogs (mine when they misbehave) the outdoors, hunting fishing, and camping.

WHAT INSPIRED YOU TO START RUNNING SLED DOGS AND HOW OLD WERE YOU WHEN YOU STARTED?
My parents had siberian huskies when I was a child. I started running teams at 5 years old and won my first race at the Buffalo Mushers Stampede on Sprit Mountain in 1974. After I got out of the service and spent many years in different states I returned to Wisconsin, my home state, where I got back into dogs and racing around 2006.
