My passion for everything sled dogs started in 1987. I ran the first UP 200 in 1990 and was hooked on racing. I’ve run many mid distance sled dog races. I worked Glacier tours on the Punch Bowl Glacier out of Girdwood AK for 2 summers and started running tours out of our kennel during winters around 2010 to feed the dogs and promote the history, beauty, sportsmanship and canine companionship of dog sledding. For the last 5 years I have hosted the first ever collegiate mushing club. We teach students about kennel care, dog care, training tours and have put over two dozen on racing dog teams.

What a sled dog looks forward to most after a long day of racing is a nice bed of straw! But guess what happened at last year’s race? Someone stole all our straw right before the race start! Thankfully, great fans like you helped us out during the final hour to provide this vital supply for our amazing dogs.
These dogs simply are the best – and we want to be able to continue treating them that way! Donations from fans like you make that possible. Would you find it in your heart to help us out? No amount is too small in sled dog world!
