I enjoy anything outdoors and spending my time with my family and friends. My family has supported my passion all the way through and have helped me set out to do this. I grew up in Bloomington and spent many weekends when I was in high school at my parents cabin in Brainerd and fished and hunted as much as possible. I was always around dogs since the day I was born. Our three family hunting dogs are Lindy, Ruby and Red (retired sled dogs).

I have had a passion for sled dogs since I was ten years old. I got the opportunity to work with a family friend that my dad set me up with to work and train with his dogs and run trips into the boundary waters with them. I am mentoring with Mike Bestgen and learning as much as I possibly can. I have been following the Iditarod my entire life.
What a sled dog looks forward to most after a long day of racing is a nice bed of straw! But guess what happened at last year’s race? Someone stole all our straw right before the race start! Thankfully, great fans like you helped us out during the final hour to provide this vital supply for our amazing dogs.
These dogs simply are the best – and we want to be able to continue treating them that way! Donations from fans like you make that possible. Would you find it in your heart to help us out? No amount is too small in sled dog world!
