Race Start Location: Billy’s Bar/East End Auto/Stone Plumbing and Heating, 3502 W. Tischer Rd., Duluth, MN

Get your Beargrease merchandise, purchase raffle tickets, meet the mushers and watch the teams take off in full-force!

7:00 am – Free-Will-Offering Shuttles – Easy parking and access to the race. Shuttles runs from Bernick’s Beargrease Bus to the start beginning at 7:00 and runs every half hour, with a stop at Other Place Bar & Grill as another pickup/drop off. Donations recommended but not required. We also have a limited amount of VIP Parking slots available for purchase.

8:00 am – Meet the Mushers – a Fan Favorite! Our mushers will be parked and waiting for you in the pit. Take photo’s with your favorite musher or lead dog, get autographs and ask questions about racing.

11:05 am – Race Start – Bib #1, the spirit of John Beargrease is the first out of the chute. Mushers follow every two minutes after.

11:07 am – Beargrease Marathon – Marathon Teams leave the start every 2 minutes.

Immediately after the Marathon teams leave the chute, the Beargrease 120 and Beargrease 40 teams will follow.

1:00 pm is when we expect the last team to leave Two Harbors.

Limited Handicap Parking will be available on a first come, first serve basis.
 
Service dogs are welcome. However, for the safety of your pets and our canine athletes, NO pets are allowed at any start, finish or checkpoint during the Beargrease.
 
** Safety is our top priority. Make sure you stay alert when you are near the race chutes – these canines can each pull 350 pounds….put 12 of them together and not much can stop them.
